- "Congratulations on a successful event! Thanks, again, for being a great host to Toni and me!" – Judy Powell
- "Thanks so much for everything over the past weekend. You
and the
organizing committee should be commended for an absolutely brilliant
festival!" – JFK and the Conspirators - "Wow I'm temporarily speechless... What a great festival you have going. We were (are) all talking about it both in Calgary and Toronto. Your hard work and tireless nights have once again paid off greatly and continue to resonate in my system even days after the final note was played on Saturday night. The fact of the matter is I'm having Calgary Reggae Festival withdrawls. There wasn't one promise that you didn't fulfill. Any slight problems you handled with grace and class and never ever made us feel uncomfortable even though you had good reason to. You bend over backwards to accommodate everyone involved and that's why everyone feels that we all play an important role. As each year goes by I (we) see The Calgary Festival grow bigger and better (it makes me wonder what's next??). All I can say is keep on doing what you're doing because it's working at the highest level. In closing on behalf of The Ultimate Crew, Ultimate Crew 2, and vocalists, Thank You so much for giving us the opportunity to participate in your wonderful festival once again and please thank everyone involved who went out of their way to make us feel like we were all important." - ONE LOVE Tony TB Barrett – Ultimate Crew
- "We would like to send you many thanks for squeezing us into the program at Calgary's Reggae Festival this year. We all had a great time and much appreciate the opportunity." - Grupo Axe Capoeira
- "Greetings Everyone! Pure Class Guys...One Love..." - Odel

- "... the Calgary Reggae Festival means warmth and togetherness, great reception from the organizing committee and the people of Calgary. The festival once again enhances the growth and development of Reggae Music across Canada. Especially in a marketplace that traditionally was not looked at as a reggae market. This Festival was a great accomplishment and personally I see it growing from strength to strength." - Steele
- "I actually am still on a high. I truly had a great time. Thanks once again. - Belinda
ReggaeFest 1 Volunteers Comments (2004)
- "My husband and I both had a great time and we are looking forward to next years festival. It was a huge hit."
- "I had a blast!!! I enjoyed meeting all the people and helping out for the festival! The atmosphere was so positive and friendly! If you require any help in the future you can count on me to be there! Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of the first Reggae Festival and I truly look forward to the next event! One Love and One World!!"
- "I had a great time. It was a really good festival and I have only heard positive comments about it. I definitely want to be involved next year."
- "The festival was a blast and I met a lot of great people and made new friends. However I have two regrets: 1) the festival wasn't longer and 2) it is over.
- "I came back to help clean up and was lucky enough to catch the last 20 minutes or so of the closing act. Swaying with the crowd in the dark to that infectious reggae beat was a wonderful experience and ranks easily as one of the highlights of my past four years in Calgary. I felt so sad when the lights went up so quickly. But I know there are noise bylaws that have to be adhered to. I look forward to helping bring the Festival to reality."
- "We really enjoyed volunteering. We got to meet lots of interesting people and the music was great. We didn't know a whole lot about Reggae music, but now we are going to look for a few of the bands' music in CD stores. There were some really great acts there."
- "I had a fun time at the festival. It was great to see familiar faces there. I was especially pleased to see the Security staff there rather than Calgary's "finest" patrolling the grounds. You and your committee did a fine job and deserve all the congratulations!"
- "Well, my response is just this.... The feeling I got standing on a speaker listening to Wayne Wonder belt out beautiful lyrics and looking out at the crowd with no security or police was the most amazing feeling I have felt for a long time. I feel blessed to have been a part of that. Thanks to the reggae festival for having the balls and ambition to put this together. Blessed."
- "First thank you so much for your effort and good vibes through out! What a highlight of the summer! The artists were diverse and professional, positive and deep, and the vibration of the prairies has forever been uplifted. Well done to everyone. As a volunteer I helped as best I could, met new friends creative and fans of creativity, and hooked up with some old rasta mates."
- "I just want to say that I enjoyed volunteering for the festival very much...the music was absolutely wonderful and the people were what made it so great! Thank you for letting me be a part of this first ever Reggae Festival. I would hope to be able to do this again!"
